TB-500 was one of six peptides a US FDA advisory committee recommended on 23-24 July 2026 for the list of substances compounding pharmacies may use; its own vote, on 23 July, was 8-6 with one abstention. TB-500 is still not an approved drug in the US, is not a licensed medicine in the UK, and is sold by research vendors labelled for research use only.
This page covers what TB-500 is, where the research stands, how its regulatory position has moved since 2023, and what the two vendors in our data charge. It does not cover use, because there is no approved human use.
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide fragment related to thymosin beta-4, a protein the human body makes naturally. The name "TB-500" is a trade label used by research vendors rather than a pharmaceutical name, which is why one product in our data is listed as "TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)".
It is different from BPC-157, the peptide it is most often paired with. BPC-157 is derived from a protein found in gastric juice; TB-500 comes from the thymosin family. The vendors sell them together as the "Wolverine stack", but they are separate compounds with separate research histories. Our BPC-157 vs TB-500 page sets the two side by side.
TB-500 study primarily exists in animal models for tissue repair, and few results in humans are to be found. The essence of that statement is crucial, because vendor descriptions are often misleading about the topic.
The vendor listings are quite honest about this. The TB-500 listing for Peptide God mentions that it has been researched for flexibility and healing, however, it also mentions as the cons “limited human studies” and “for research purposes only.” The Real Peptides company states that their TB-500 is “not the same as BPC-157 peptide,” and is only available for research purposes.
I would read any claim of benefit as a statement about animal studies, not confirmed in controlled human trials. If a seller or clinic tells you TB-500 treats an injury, that is a medicinal claim, and in the UK it is exactly the kind of claim regulators look at.
TB-500's US status has moved twice in three years, but neither move made it an approved medicine. The timeline is short.
In the UK, none of this applies directly. The MHRA has not licensed TB-500, and how a product is promoted decides whether it is treated as a medicine. Our TB-500 UK guide goes through that in detail.
Two vendors in our data sell TB-500 on its own, and one sells it in a bundle. These are their listed US prices.
| Product | Vendor | Listed price (USD) | Stated contents | Testing claim |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TB-500 | Peptide God | $35.00 | Vial size not in our data | Lab-tested, at least 99% purity |
| TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) | Real Peptides | $48.00 | 10 mg, freeze-dried powder | Third-party COA per batch |
| Wolverine Peptide Stack | Real Peptides | $40.80 | 10 mg TB-500 + 10 mg BPC-157 | Third-party COA per batch |
The Peptide God TB-500 has the lowest sticker price at $35.00 (US dollars), but without a stated vial size we cannot say whether it is cheaper per mg than Real Peptides' $4.80 per mg. The oddity in the table is that Real Peptides' Wolverine bundle, which includes the same 10 mg TB-500 plus a BPC-157 vial, is listed for less than its TB-500 on its own. Prices change, so check the live listing.
Both sellers are located in the USA and it is yet to be confirmed that any of them delivers their products to the UK. Check the vendor's site yourself.
Prices are in US dollars, so card and exchange fees may apply. Imports can be held by Border Force or attract VAT or duty. The vendors' free-delivery thresholds, $100 at Peptide God and $250 at Real Peptides, and Peptide God's 30-day free returns are US terms. TB-500 is also on the WADA Prohibited List, so it is off-limits for any athlete subject to testing under UK Anti-Doping. For the full vendor comparison across the stack, see Wolverine stack peptides.
Discounts shown are real: the vendor’s own sale price, or how much cheaper per mg a product is than the average of the vendors on this page.
